JR Smith

J.R. Smith is a former NBA player who won two championships with the Cleveland Cavaliers (2016) and Los Angeles Lakers (2020). After his 16-year basketball career, he enrolled at North Carolina A&T State University in 2021 to earn a liberal arts degree and joined the men's golf team as a walk-on. He was named Academic Athlete of the Year in 2022 after achieving a 4.0 GPA his freshman year.
